An interactive teaching model of the thumb carpometacarpal (trapeziometacarpal) joint for hand surgery trainees. It covers normal anatomy, simulated osteoarthritis by Eaton–Littler stage, and simulated CMC arthroscopy with synovectomy, chondroplasty, loose body removal, osteophyte excision and hemitrapeziectomy.
Educational use only. Pathology and instrument behaviour are procedural simulations on a normal anatomical model. They are not patient data and are not a substitute for supervised training.
Anatomical meshes are derived from Z-Anatomy (LluisV/Z-Anatomy), which builds on BodyParts3D (© The Database Center for Life Science), licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. The derived model file models/cmcj.glb (region extracted, rescaled to millimetres, subdivided, joint-distance attribute added) is shared under the same licence.
